John Saunders is the President of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) which is global representative body for the PR industry. ICCO represents more than 25,000 professionals in 850 firms in 28 countries. He is due to serve as ICCO President till October 2007.

John was appointed Fleishman-Hillard’s Regional Director for Continental Europe & Ireland in 2004. In his role at Fleishman-Hillard he is responsible for the firm’s offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Dublin, Frankfurt, Milan, Munich, Paris, Prague and Warsaw. He is also responsible for relationships with a range of affiliate partners throughout Europe.

He was appointed by the Irish Prime Minister as a Patron for the 2003 Special Olympics World Games. He is a member of a range of professional bodies and is regularly asked to speak on communications internationally. Countries where he has undertaken speaking engagements include Iceland, India, Iran, Poland, Turkey and the United States.
